In 2008, Rising Sun released his sophomore project Gunpoet, a record made in close collaboration with friend and producer J-san (J-san and the Analogue Sons). The record went on to win several local music awards, and served as a blueprint for the live rap band now taking the scene by storm. With J-san's all out live musical production providing a rock solid foundation, and an extraordinary group of players behind him, Rising Sun's larger vision has been brought to life.
